Last week was the start of something BIG.

It was the kick-off to the first “Mountaineers” Middle School Youth Group!

We had such a fun time hanging out with 6th, 7th and 8th graders. We played Spikeball, experienced some friendly competition through team activities, ate a TON of pizza and dove into the Beatitudes in Matthew chapter 5.

The Lord has been so faithful in sustaining us, as well as drawing students towards this ministry.. With each week, we are asked more and more about middle school youth opportunities and are getting to know more students!

Our prayer is that we would continually lay our expectations, frustrations and plans at God’s feet and allow him to guide our steps and words. We are also praying for more volunteers to help out as the ministry grows.
