We first met each other in 2010 while serving as counselors at Camp BlueSky in Kenya. Below is literally our first picture together!

We were married in June of 2014 in Rome, Georgia.

Before moving to Kenya, Nate worked at First Presbyterian Church as the Assistant Youth Director. 

Shanna was a Spanish teacher at Armuchee Middle School and High School.

It was bittersweet to leave our community in the U.S, but we are thankful for God’s calling for us to move to Kenya and do youth ministry.  

We’ve now been serving in youth ministry here in Nairobi since August 2016. Our family has grown and so has our love for Kenya!
